This service is very useful for foreigners who do not speak Spanish. Great starting point if you are considering visiting a doctor for any medical reason in Bogotá Colombia. DoctorForExpats were extremely quick in communicating with me and swift in setting me up with a doctor. Backstory: I needed some bloodwork done and I couldn’t get an appointment with my primary care physician till 3 months later, here in the u.s. Fortunately I was planning on going to Bogota soon anyways and they were able to get me an appointment asap. Dr. Javier Lopez was really informative and gave me all the information I needed. Would highly recommend.

I opted for the “teledoc” and then set up a time that was convenient for me. The online payment process was simple and efficient. I thought the fee was very reasonable and comparable to what I would have received in the US. The doc prescribed medication that I easily filled nearby. If needed, I would use Doctors for Expats again and would recommend their services.

I have used doctors for expats twice now for two different issues whilst in Colombia, once for an online consultation and once in person. In both instances I was able to get an appointment very quickly, everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly, and I was extremely happy with the service provided. Everyone also is English-speaking, which makes things much easier. Overall I would 100% recommend the company to anyone that has issues whilst in Colombia!

I was able to get a telemedicine visit with a doctor within 30 minutes of reaching out, and left with prescriptions that were easily found at the local pharmacy. They even followed up to check on me the next day to ensure my symptoms were improving. I can’t recommend this enough!
